At Athens Gunsmith Service LLC we provide a variety of traditional gunsmith services delivered in a traditional manner of customer service and quality workmanship. We do most everything from general repair, to rebarreling and custom builds. We are not a parts changing service that continues to swap parts until or if the firearm can be made to function.
While we work on a variety of guns and provide a full range of repair services, we specialize in restorations, both commercial guns and military guns. We offer a variety of metal refinishing: traditional rust blue, hot bluing from matt finishes to high polish, nitre bluing, and parkerizing. We also refinish original gunstocks, including re-checkering.
